From the Founder: My Go-To Mental Wellness Tools

Hey! It’s Sadie, the co-founder and CEO. 

 

At SadieB, we talk a lot about ✨Girl Care✨ which is the daily routine you practice to take care of your WHOLE self, body + mind. No more of this “fixing” our appearance. We don’t need fixing. We need to truly CARE for our body and mind. 

 

I have found that I HAVE to practice what I preach because if I don’t take care of my body + mind, I can’t run SadieB to the best of my ability, I don’t wake up feeling refreshed, and my thoughts might start to spiral into self-hate and I will eventually break down.

 

Because taking care of my body + mind is essential for us to function joyfully in our day-to-day lives, I wanted to share a few of my go-to resources that help me stay grounded, focused, and at peace each day. Remember, while these tools work wonders for me, they do not replace medical or professional help if you need it.

 

1) Clarity Journal App

Writing has always been a powerful outlet for me, and the Clarity Journal App takes it to the next level. It’s an amazing AI tool that has taught me so much about reframing my spiraling thoughts and other mental health practices. Whether I'm feeling overwhelmed or just want to capture a moment of gratitude, this app helps me stay in tune with my emotions and move forward. 

 

2) Nike Run Club + Nike Training Club  

Taking care of your body and mind goes hand in hand, and the Nike Run Club and Nike Training Club apps are perfect for that. Running is one of my favorite ways to reduce anxiety, but I know running isn’t for everyone! That is why I also listed the Nike Train Club Running which has so many guided workout options. The best part… IT'S ALL FREE!

 

3) Headspace  

I should probably meditate more often, but when I do, Headspace is my go-to. I love using the relaxing sessions before I go to sleep if I’m having trouble calming down. Also, so nice of them to offer an 80% discount to students!

 

4) Self-Care with SadieB Products
